I started out this week finding a really nice Ruger Blackhawk, 357, 3 screw old model. It dates to 1970. I rarely see old 3 screw Rugers anymore. The shop even came down on their price for me, so I felt like I got a good deal.
I stopped at another shop yesterday looking for a good holster for the Ruger. I stopped at their revolver counter and found a pre model 18 S&W 5 screw, 22l.r. It was actually priced $50 lower then the Ruger. I had to get it. I've since found out it was made the same year I was born.
My budget won't allow my to go out there and see if I can get lucky again.

I hit a lick for revolvers too. A month ago I got a mint model 58 Smith for relative chump change and have an unfired model 57 (new in wooden presentation case) waiting for me. The 57 apparently is from the 70s sometime.
4” 57 or 657 is a serious grail gun for me...

Stay safe.

I forget to mention I picked up a mint 657 4" (as new,no box) gun looks unfired ($750 inc tax)
I have a dealer that knows when a nice 41 comes in the door there's a 99% chance it'll be going home with me even though I probably already have 3 or 4. I'm too predictable.

I say forget the budget and keep rolling the dice!

You've got a lucky streak going on now and it would be a shame to end it!

Congratulations!

I, too, had more luck, than money, scoring two nice little revolvers in March and April, that effectively consumed my entire firearms budget for the whole year, and beyond.

The price for what revolvers are actually selling for right now on a lot of models is really dropping amd there are great deals right now. Also on old Lugers too, actual SELLING prices not wanting prices.

Congrats on your find! Hopefully, I can stumble upon a 5” S&W 460 XVR.......that someone really wants to get rid of! :D memtb
