I'm going to check out a Luger this weekend. Are there any "What-to-Look-For" or "How-to-Inspect" sites, listings, or postings out there for Lugers? If not, can someone post a listing of tips?
    Thanks.

Most important is that all serial numbers match on all the parts.

Lots of mis-matched Luger parts guns out there that just don't work.

Check for chipped extractor from using German steel case ammo during the war.

Other then that, not much different then any other gun. Don't buy one that is rusted shut, or has been used for a hammer.

There is a lot to learn at the Simpson Ltd. website as far as various makes & models, etc.
