Doubtful.

SAAMI OAL is 1.610".

Loaded length of the #429640 loaded to the crimp groove is 1.700".

It is doubtful Ruger left that much extra length in the rotary mag for anything longer then SAAMI standard length ammo.

But, that's just a WAG?

If it's anything like my M77/.357mag then it won't feed well from the magazine with Semi or full wadcutters. Unless you deep seat them and crimp over the shoulder of the bullet rather than seat and crimp in crimp groove. This precipitates the need to slightly reduce max charges.
You can single load them. Or, use one of the molds for RFN or so-called "cowboy action bullets". I have and they feed, but I haven't found an accurate load yet. (5"+ at 50yds).
My rifle will feed the RFN's as well as it does jsp's or jhp's.
Too bad it doesn't care for SWC's. In fact, I loaded up some that shot well with 6.5gr of Unique with some #2400 (Lee 158gr .358" Tumble-lube bullet). Fired cases had a sliver-ring of lead on mouth of case after firing. Evidently shaved off by throat of chamber.
The throat of the chamber is DEFINITELY NOT cut for shooting SWC or lead/cast bullets.
It does however, shoot 1.5moa with some bulk Remington 158gr JSP's I bought about 10yrs ago over 17.8gr of Hod. Lil'Gun. I'm getting ~2,050fps and 1.5moa.
I've decided I'll keep it...

fwiw; the SWC-TL's shot ~3.5" at 50yds and run ~1,350fps from 20"bbl (6.5gr Unique). I was hoping for same accuracy at ~1,750fps but no avail....shotgun pattern instead...
I still may pursue the 200gr RCBS FN-GC and Lil'gun to see if it'll "shoot"...
I'm just looking for an "accurate" cast bullet load....at "magnum" speeds...
Might be too much to hope for.
