Looked at one in Scheel's All Sports just last week--sure had a lot of slop in the ram.

I've read that more than a couple times in my forum going. Sloppy ram, wearing out fast.

I have had one for about 10 years and do not notice any slop. They are really built. The primer catcher is lacking. When I took it apart for its 5 year cleaning I discovered I had bent the handle, must have been feeling my oats that day.

I think it is the new Lyman items that are the issue, not old stuff. They seem to be slipping on QC and certainly are down on CS.

And for those reasons I'll be sticking with my lee equipment. Though I do have a Lyman 6in1 case prep tool that I enjoy.
