I'm looking for a wooden stock and handguard for a WWII Inland M-1 carbine. I bought it several years ago and the original stock was hammered. I replaced it with a plastic one. Cheaper than Dirt used to have the wooden stocks for a long time. Now they don't list them.

Anyone know where I could get one in decent shape these days?

Thanks, Russ

Gun shows usually have them.
If you don't have any coming up soon, check out Shotgun News. There are always ads for people selling carbine stocks. (Usually they are M2 stocks though, if that matters to you)

check with Fedral arms corp. They were selling stocks made by Boyd's but I don't know if they are on hand or not or check with Boyd's stocks (I think there on the web)

They turn up at gun shows and a lot of gun shops where people took them off to put on plastic stocks. Also, Gun Parts Corp has a couple of grades (www.gunpartscorp.com).

Thanks for the info. I found some new manufacture on Boyd's and some surplus on another site. I really don't like the plastic one on there.
