Now I have about 300 rounds downrange, 95% 158 LSWC. Bore leading is negligible. Definitely improved from original, Accuracy appears improved. (limiting factor here is the nut behind the trigger)
A surprise for me upon cleaning. before, there always seemed to be a tight spot in the bore right where the barrel joins the frame. It is no more. Don't know why, but it is gone. Cone cut was only just barely to the rifling lands.
The more I shoot this old revolver, the more I like it. Every time I let someone else shoot it, they want to buy it. Old police trade in worn and scratched from too many donut & coffee shops but fortunately not shot much before me. Money WELL spent.

Thanks for posting a follow up, I can only hope that the model 15 I just did is a similar success story.

They really are nice revolvers. Nothing fancy, and mine has its fair share of wear and tear like yours, but the trigger is glorious and it is just the right size for the .38 special cartridge (which is equally timeless and enjoyable to use).
