The dinners which are an OC event, but actually are in tune to big meet and greet have been widely successful in the Metro Phoenix, area, with it growing to well over 75 people on the last event.
Lots of new folks, and families,
It even made the local news, in a decent even light, while neither negative or positive they tied all the interviews in to a piece about our new controversial CCW law allowing carry into Alcohol serving establishments.
WE did have a little drama locally in regards to the last dinner, we were accused of being a white supremcy group and racists, hahah, quite funny actually as its a well diversified group, including races and genders on both sides of the spectrum
The public recieved all carriers well, with considerable curiousty, which everyone involved patiently explained what, when, why.
Now there is a new OC & Meet and Greet in Tucson Arizona on the 25th.
It is not necessary to carry, either open or CCW to attend, showing up to meet new individuals and famlies who have the same goal, and ideas.
Feel free to PM me for location, I would post on the forum, but it is much easier to hand it out in private to avoid any undue drama.
Thanks to all that came to the last one, and look forward to some out of towners on the next one.
