Saw some mention on a couple other boards (rimfirecental.com & mp-pistol.com).

This is a M&P 22lr pistol with a 4.1" barrel and thumb safety.

Supposedly to be avail with 10 and 12 round mags.

Supposedly in the Feb-April time frame.

Alledgedly some or all of to be made by Wather/Umarex (possibly, the fame to be made by S&W and slide made by Walther/Umarex)

Seems to be a BIG push of .22lr product coming from Walther/Umarex/Colt. Hopefully, they'll get realy good at it and we all win.

That's awesome, as a big time user of m&p pistols I'll have to get one of those.

    I'd just like a .22lr upper for my M&P9.

I'd like a .22LR not made by Umarex. If this is a S&W product it may be the catalyst for my purchasing a 9mm and .22LR matching pair of M&Ps. If it's a Umarex, I can pay a lot less for some other .22 that jams just as well. :)

I'd like a 22lr upper for my M&P as well.

I don't need a new pistol, especially if they all come with the thumb safety.
