Does anyone else have a curved seating for their slide spring to sit on? Ours doesn't rest on a ledge like my Glocks and seems to move around a bit. You can feel it rub while racking, and my daughter has a hard time getting the slide to catch during the cleaning process. Hard to find closeups of that spot. Maybe it just takes a few hundred bangs to fix. Thanks

The Shield's barrel lacks a square ledge on which the recoil spring assembly can rest. That presents no problem; put the RSA in as far down as possible and it will find it own level for the end of the RSA to rest squarely against the barrel lug. More importantly -and probably why you feel rubbing when racking the slide- you need to be careful to center the end of the RSA on the barrel lug.
