im posting these pics to get feedback on this set up. i have not shot this gun yet with this stock but i really like the way it looks. vltor socom EMOD stock with ultimak rail, aimpoint comp ml3, harris bipod and olight m20 warrior weapon light. i wanted a pistol grip setup and this seems like a lite weight and simple configuration. i like the low forward mount of the non magnified optic for cowittness and use on close quarters. im eager to see how far away i can shoot at night with the m20 warrior. it appears to light up fairly well at 100 yds. i put the smooth reflector in the light for maximum throw but not sure if there is a noticeable difference. while standing i plan on using the left bipod leg as a fore-grip.

Looks like a pretty nice set up. Honestly, and just my opinion, I hate an AR stock on anything not an AR. Perhaps the Magpul PRS would look better in my mind. Now it just needs to be something other than black! ;)

the gun is about 12lbs. with out the bipod and light, the gun is pretty lite compared to the wood stock. i know the gun looks cumbersome with the long barrel but i kinda just did this setup for night shoots. i still prefer the good ol fashioned wood stock in most situations. the gun deserves a scope but since these guns have problems holding zeros so i went w/ the lite weight low mount which i can double check the zero with my irons. the bipod also makes up for the non-magnification. i live on a ranch so i have areas of 300-400 yds to shoot.....making the 22" bbl desired. not that a scout couldnt handle that distance, but i want the full velocity the .308 has to offer.

looks like a good setup. You will have no problem hitting targets at 400 yards if you shoot straight. :)

Nice set up!

I prefer a lighter config. 18" barrel, Vltor stock, ultimak, smith ent direct connect vortex FH, winter safety, and an aimpoint T1 micro.

stock height is easy to adjust with a wrench. raises one inch. plenty high for a scope.
