I am holding about 12 rifles for a friend of mine who is in the process of moving. One of his rifles is a mint M1A1 with a black fiberglass stock. He also has a Springfield scope that has never been mounted on it. He told me it is made for the M1A1. It looks like it is the Springfield Government 6x40 Standard Reticle, Rangefinding Reticle. The rifle is about 3 years old and has probably only had about 100 rounds through it. It has been pampered like you would not believe. He is asking $1200 for it. Do you think that is too much? It's a pretty darn sweet rifle, but I don't want to pay too much.
