Hello all, I just acquired an M39 SKY marked. I detail stripped the rifle for a thorough cleaning. After assembling it back together, I noticed that there was something weird with the bolt. As I close the bolt by turning the bolt handle down, there are two "clicks." The first click would be at about 1/5 of the way down, the bolt would stop moving at the first click and if I pulled the trigger, the bolt would go all the way down. The second click would be if I manually close the bolt all the way down.

I'm not sure if the bolt was designed this way but my 91/30 doesn't have this problem at all.

Any inputs?

Thanks.

I have a feeling you reassembled the bolt incorrectly. Take some pictures and post them. The clicks are mostly normal if they're not loud. The thing that is definitely NOT normal is needing to pull the trigger to put the bolt down. DON'T try this with the gun loaded or you may end up with some sort of injury.

See this link for an exploded view of the rifle and a bold disassembly/reassembly guide:
