Made A Mistake Today, Needing Advice

I went out and shot these on Saturday. WOW! An eye-opening experience! The first rounds were put through my snub-nose - a mistake I won't repeat. The recoil was extremely stout, almost unmanageable. My load will be reduced .5 grains for the next batch.

As it turns out, there were only 350 rounds, not 550 as I stated earlier. It was a good thing it was 200 less though. At around 250 rounds fired, I noticed a sharp stinging on the web of my hand during each shot. When I looked down, there was a large chunk of skin missing from my hand in that area. Sadly, there were still 100 to go and it was an extremely painful experience.

I'm not looking forward to repeating this, let alone twice, but I have no further use for the powder or the primers, so I will just load them up. Next time I'm wearing a glove though!

Welcome to magnum land.

:)

Gorilla duct tape works for that flap of skin. Speaking from experience, some times you just gotta keep shootin........ I get it !
