    I liked the old Norinco yellow box .223 back in the 80’s and 90’s, pretty accurate for FMJ’s although on the dirty side. Shot lots of it back then, a 1200 round case was $120.

    Before it was banned from importation.

    Funny how the only things the .gov doesn’t want China to send here are firearms and ammunition...

    Finding out where something is actually made requires going further than the headstamp on the case.

    The US makes cases that bear foreign headstamps.

    Some supposedly "domestic" brands use foreign components.

    There is no easy, universally applicable answer to your question.

    Just goes to show that one has to look beyond labels like "American Freedom" or "For Patriots" if they want to avoid being seduced into buying foreign product.
