I was shooting at 7 to 10 yards and it shot low. I fooled around with sights and got it better. But I have read now that it may of shot low because it was set up for 25 to 50 yards...thoughts?

    I have a BFR in 475 Linebaugh.

When I first started shooting this revolver, it also shot low. I raised the sights and it was better.

Later, I tried shooting from a sand bag, and it shot high. I was flinching when not using the bag, causing the gun to shoot low.

I am working on a steadier technique, but it is not easy!

Of course, I do not know if this has anything to do with your situation, but I hope that my experience could help you sort things out.

I never overcame the flinching that came factory with my BFR in .500 mag :(

It was more accurate than I was though. Mine shot high :(
