Well I ordered 500 Magtech .40 FMJ 180 gr and they sent me 500 Magtech .40 JHP by mistake....same price so I got a small good deal.
So should I hoard back any of these bullets for SD uses, are they any good? Or should I just load and shoot them for target practice, which was why I ordered FMJ:eek:
BTW been putting them in front of 6 gr of Unique in reloaded brass. Shooting them in a Walther p99, a Walther PPS and a Springfield XD-m

In general, I find JHP bullets to be more accurate...I'd keep 'em & shoot them for sure. As for defense, they're probably "OK" (I use factory LE ammo for defense) but regardless, this mistake was a nice one for you.

I had some 180 grain Magtech for my Glock .40. (Oh no!! Reloads for Glock! :)

They did VERY well, but I switched to a lighter grain of JHP.
