    Gentlemen,

I'm sure some of you carrying Soviet surplus Makarovs have figured out what other standard models fit the same holsters. Can I fit mine in a holster made for a Walther PP? PPK? Beretta Cougar? What?

I'm looking for a good fit, but few of the manufacturers list what a Mak will fit in. Thanks for your help.

Uncle Mike's Sidekick Size 1 or the Fobus MAK 1. I also have the original holster somewhere. Let me know if you want it and we can make a deal.

If you're looking for kydex check out Comp-Tac & Blade-Tech.

The Falco IWB is a great holster but makarov.com doesn't seem to have any in stock right now.

I can't vouch for the shoulder holster but the IWB is great: sturdy leather that doesn't swim around on the belt.

I use a Don Hume IWB. It works well, but I prefer a canted holster.

Should be no need to cross-match. There's lots of options now for holsters made specifically for the Makarov.

And my understanding is that they won't be getting any more.

All they have left are shoulder holsters.
