Makarov wood grips

Yesterday the UltraThin African Blackwood grips for my Makarov arrived in the mail.

I have a real old POS digital camera, so forgive the quality
(when I get access to a better camera I'll take better pics)

They make a world of difference as far as CCW goes ... that and they look so much better then the pics.

Wow, they look pretty nice.

How do they feel at the range? The Mak is kinda snappy...

haven't shot with them yet

going to the range sometime this week since I'm on vacation ... gonna shoot the Mak with the new grips and shoot my new AR15.

I expect them to feel slightly better then the red star grips, but not as nice as the Pearce (which are great for shooting ... bad for CCW)

actualy they felt better then I thought.

Nothing is as comfortable as Pearce grips, but these are significantly more comfortable then the red star grips.

Hope they work better for you than mine did. I bought a set from Makarov.com and the broke on the right side after I fired 12 rounds. I went back to the plastic grips.
