Makers mark? - (AR15 related)

Since I know there a ton of AR fans here.

I was looking for something today and found a stripped upper in the far corner of one of my safes.

Anyone know the maker? This is the only mark on the upper except a serial number or product number laser etched inside under the rail.

That’s a forge mark, and I believe what you’re seeing is an Anchor Harvey marked upper. It just tells you what company produced that part

That's the mark of the company that made the forging, not the company that machined it out.

There's not much reason to prefer one basic forging over another. They all follow the same specs.

Thanks people... I didn't even know I had it, was just curious..

Course now I need a lower of some type.. LOL

I did find an R on the lower lug.
