Mako 3x Magnifier

I was thinking of getting a 3x Magnifier for Eotech sight on my AR. The Eotech 3x looks great but is out of my price range.

I seen that Make is making a 3x Magnifier for the Eotech and costs around $100 from Cheaper than dirt.

Anyone have this sight? Is it worth buying? Or just just a cheap knock off.
