I have a friend who is LEO up north and I was looking for an article about the man who I believe was in Dallas area that shot 3 intruders in 3 weeks or a month. Can anyone steer me to the right place, I have done a bunch of searches, but all I can find is the article about Joe Horn in Pasedena TX. thanks

Joe Horn shot two burglers that were in his neighbors home.

What made it worse was after the second shooting, on the way from buying still another shotgun, a local liberal female TV reporter "ambushed" the man and asked him such as, Are you trigger happy?, etc.
The man actually broke down and cried.

We really raised Hell with the TV station. The reporter was "put on leave" (fired).

Love that headline that claims he killed that burglar twice. You used to be able to depend on editors knowing the English language. That was considered part of the job qualification when I was hired on as a caption editor/writer (a couple of generations ago.)

No, he shot two burglars who were taking flight after the burglary and actually crossed into Horn's yard. He did not shoot them in his neighbor's home.

Before the upsetting part, however, the cool part of the interview was when he was explaining why he was having to buy a shotgun...because the cops had all of his. You know, he was smart and had two in case something happened to one and then then unthinkable happened and both were taken for the investigation. Mental note, have at least three shotguns.

I see they did their best to show only people who thought the shootings were a bad thing. . . must be a good neighborhood of reasonable thinking people if those retards are the best they could come up with.

I didn't see that. I saw the one guy shown multiple times saying it was a good thing, then the woman who was scared then the hispanic man who disagreed with the actions. Seemed to be fairly even handed reporting in this case.

    I like your planning.:D

I didn't actually see the "ambush" on TV and my internet connection is too slow to watch the video, so I'm just going by what was being said at the time.
Heck I would have given the man a new shotgun.:)
