I'm not even an American, but this image disturbs me:

The only solution, says the Mexica Movement, is to expel the invaders of the last 500 years, force them to pay reparations and return the continent to its rightful heirs.

Who, the Maya and Aztecs? :D Sorry, they're gone, guys. The people who spoke the language YOU SPEAK, Spanish, wiped them out.

This is so ironic it's not even funny. People who have the language and culture of their region's conquerers demanding this...

as a high school student in texas i know some laws...

and one is, if you leave school campus it is truancy they call the cops. (had it done to me)

now if any of you were watching the news the school buses were taking them to their rallying point now that is also something i think is not right government property being used by forgien people.

IF you dont like america GET OUT!!!!

The recent demonstrations were a warning, I believe. A show of force. If the immigration bill currently being debated turns out to be something the Mex community doesn't like, those demonstraters will turn into rioters and I believe that was the message they wanted to convey.
We're being strongarmed.

Then it's time to start twisting arms...

Dallas is planning a massive pro-alien rally April 9th...

...anybody wanna play "Twister"? ;)

I think it should be shown on every news channel in the US.
No worries Andy, I didn't hit the Beam - I just put a little more Bailey's in my coffee.:neener:

..or maybe just part of the plan...if it gets too out of hand well, then posse comitatus will just have to be lefted

Strongarmed, of course.

Of course two can play at that game. If there are riots there will be retaliation. This will not be a Saturday night brawl at the local cantina. And Los Angeles is not going to become Sarajevo.

The key card will be played by the Federal gov't if trouble really breaks out. Is Bush going to use force to stop the rioters? If he doesn't he might as well resign.

Well Seeker, my wife and I sometimes play Naked Twister. Does that count?

Good man - pity I don't have any of my hometown Scotch in the house, or I'd join ya.

Important point. Government people and resources are aiding and abetting what's going on here. School officials permitted the truancy.

Bureaucrats need to be made to answer for what's going on. That, by the way, includes our Chief Bureaucrat, George W. Bush. He needs to be called out and asked why public civil servants are helping lawbreakers without reprisal.

It should disturb EVERY American.
Hmmmm...must be something wrong with me, since I'm not disturbed. I'm INFURIATED. :fire: I'll leave my comments at that, since what I REALLY want to say is in no way fitting of THR.
Well Seeker, my wife and I sometimes play Naked Twister. Does that count?
GACK! There is a mental image I did not need before my first cup of java. Thanks Biker.... :neener:

Nice quote from Teddy Roosevelt on that site:

"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all.

We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Ohhhh, deer hunter, now a pic is a great idea!:)
Get ready, you'll never know which post it'll be until it's too late!

My co-worker said these demonstrations reminded him of high school when everyone walked out to protest prop 187. He's not illegal.. none of his friends were.. but they were all Mexican-American, so they all rallied against Prop 187 even though it wouldnt have even affected them.

(emphasis mine) This sentence above should serve as a lesson to all of us here. Next time you see a law being passed that won't affect you, but will someone else, FIGHT it. Quite an ironic source for such a gem of wisdom, I'll admit...but hey--we can't all be awake to the threat of illegal immigration invasion. That would just make too much sense.
