Finally getting my camp 45 shipped to me from my previous state that I resided in. I would like to decide what optics choices would best be suited for my camp 45 before I get it next week. I am thinking about getting a bushnell red dot, but I have also considered a 4x scope.

Which marlin base do I need if I get the red dot? Which red dot would be best suited to this rifle? Suggestions fellow Camp owners??

I think the red dot is a better solution. Scopes on carbines, especially 45 carbines seems just wrong.

You need to get involved in the Camp Club. Do a search for camp club and get involved!

The Camp 45 is 100 yard gun. IMHO a 4x scope is wasted on such a gun. I have a Bushnell red dot on mine, and it's a perfect fit.

The Camp Carbines use the same scope bases as the Marlin 336.
