Hi guys!
I'm leaving Sweden for a trip to US and Massachusetts in the beginning of may for business, i will have some time free so i thought i would like to go to a shootingrange and rent-a-gun, but it seems that gunlaws are fairly hard in Ma?
Is there any rent-a-gun range in Ma?
Any great shops? (i'd like to buy some 1911-parts)

i will be in the Boston area and hopefully i manage to get hold of a vehicle for transportation...
S&W training centre is one place to go, but what else is there in the immediate vincinity?

thanks Tinpig, AFS seems like a good place to begin!

lupak-
Cambridge, right next to Boston, has a gun shop called Roach's Sporting Goods.

I've never been to it, but my son has.
It's a short subway ride there directly from Boston (from Park Square take the Red Line to Porter Square in Cambridge) and then it's just a couple of blocks walk.
Hope you enjoy yourself, Boston can be beautiful in the spring, but cool. Probably no colder than Sweden though.

The Smith and Wesson range is great. Can rent and shoot basically anything Smith, also the price is great. When renting the rental price includes targets and 50 rounds of ammunition. I was very pleased with my experience, plus they have great training at this facility although i don't have first hand experience in any of the courses.

Also they require all shooters to wear a hat, just a heads up because the range hats look goofy as all hell. So bring along a baseball cap, (but not a Yankees one)

40 miles north of Boston, in Manchester New Hampshire, is a range called Manchester Firing Line. There you can rent quite a wide variety of firearms, to include machine guns.
Tel. 603-668-9015. they are open 7 days a week.
