hey guys,

I’m going to be picking up a Winchester 1886 made by Cimarron to have engraved. Pictured is a case hardened marlin 1895 with a beautiful detailed scene. I am looking for this level of engraving. I realize this will cost thousands. Does anyone know of anyone who does scenes and portraits?

Take a look at the work of a man in my area, Otto Carter. His web site, ottocarter.com, has numerous examples of his work.

It's your money but why aren't you using a real Winchester for this project? If you bought a current production it would be less than $500 more than the Cimarron. Maybe an extra $1,000 for a clean old one. That's not a lot considering what you'll pay for master engraving.
