Anyone know about the defender series? Are these just stage props (mac clones) ? They look pretty neat and the prices arent bad!

not sure if going fully auto is possible with the reciever though !

or should I just try for a Sten , I looked at Skorpion but I am not a fan of the weak .32 acp !

Anyway I always like to hear comments from you guys , please let me know what you think about Materpiece Arms ??

Ive looked into them, they are made via state of the art machines, and are really good qualities, ive been wanting a pistol caliber carbine in 45 and they are the most affordable of the few 45 carbines out there

I have the MPA 30T in 9mm. They are the best made of the MAC style weapons. They operate from closed bolt unlike the originals. It is a cool little fun toy that let's you
burn alot of ammo quickly. I like mine so much I may (one day) get a tax-stamp and put a stock on it.

I've got the MPA .45 It's neat and will digest any crap ammo you feed it without a stoppage because it's built like a tank.

That said, the heavy reciprocating bolt rocks the guns up and down like a mechanical bull. I'm good at handling recoil but this gun is way off balance and difficult to shoot.

I like the looks of it and sticking a 30 round grease gun mag into the grip and pulling the bolt back is neatest thing about it.

It doesn't really increase accuracy on it's own. It serves mainly to keep you from shooting off your fingers if holding it properly with two hands like a SMG rather thantrafitional handgun. Keep in mind the original MACs often had a little strap on the front to help control the muzzle. (You can buy these for the MPAs too.) You can buy an actual grip if you prefer but that requires a tax-stamp.

Do a YouTube search for "MasterPiece Arms bumpfire." The balance and trigger-slap can be used to waste alot of ammo/have some expensive fun. IMHO the best video is the one filmed in the desert by a guy in white T-shirt and hunting camo pants. There are some other good ones out there too. The ones by zybeco (or something like that) are very long and boring to watch. It's an entire video of slow steady fire.
