I have always wondered what model this was, I have never been able to find one that match's it. I am particularly interested in the fact that a pre-war European gun has a grooved receiver apparently for a .22 style tip off scope mount [if fact I am using my Ruger 10/22 mts on it].
I would love to find original mounts for it but don't know what I'm looking for.
Barrel is 25.5 inches.

The "tip-off" scope grooves on your rifle were not intended for the 3/8" Weaver Tip-off mount.

Bill Weaver did not invent that mount system until the early 1950's, and it could not have become a feature of factory .22 rifles until after then.
It took several years before it became the factory standard .22 mount system in the USA, and still later before it became widely used in Europe.

What your rifle has is European 11mm groves, as is still used on some European made air-rifles.
Even CZ is still using 11mm grooves on some current production .22 rifles.

They are very close to the Weaver system, and 3/8" Weaver clamp rings will often work.
But they sometimes don't, and slip on the harder recoiling double-shuffle spring piston air-rifles.
The cure is real 11mm clamp rings that fit the 11mm grooves correctly.
