I have recently been looking over both and have been kind of leaning towards the White Hat rig. I have heard good things about both of these, and to the uneducated eye they look very similar. The interchangeable kydex shells and slightly lower price of the max tuck are why i am tending to lean that direction. The only thing that has me hesitating is the fact that i have read tons and tons of great reviews of the crossbreed, and i dont know that i have ever read one that was negative. Any insight into my dilemma would be greatly appreciated.

I have the crossbreed and will be buying a Max tuck soon. I think they are both high quality for good price IMO. Can't go wrong either way.

Any particular reason you are getting the max tuck? The only reason i ask is most crossbreed owners i have seen are extremely loyal to the brand, and wouldnt even think about another product.

I prefer the Comp-Tac MTAC. IMHO it's a higher quality, better made holster than the Supertuck and has interchangeable Kydex shells that fully cover the muzzle in most cases. I have always thought one of the dumbest things that can be done with holster design is having the front inch or two of the slide sticking through the end of a holster. If you carry IWB every day in a shop environment or elsewhere that you are very active your pants wear through at the lead edge of the slide. This translates to beating the living :cuss: out of the nose of your weapon if it's not protected by the holster. I had never heard of the Maxtuck. I found the website and it has a very small Kydex shell so I wouldn't even consider it for the reason stated above.
