I have a custom varmint rifle in 6mm-06 built with a Krieger barrel blank.
My current loading pushes a 70gr bullet out at about 3750fps.
Is there a muzzle velocity that begins to damage the barrel and if so, anyone know what that might be? It's chrome moly steel, 1 in 10 twist, 4 groove barrel.
