MCK Sales, Discounts... Because They're Verboten?

I just received a text from MCK concerning a "buy one, get one free" sale for their products.
Last month, I removed my G22 from the MCK kit that I had, which was a shame as it was pretty sharp.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the brace installed, these can no longer be used legally without going through the ATF rigmarole, right?

What would be the point of purchasing these now?

Yes the MCK and similar pistol chassis systems have to be registered if used with an arm brace per the Brace Rule change. The ATF specifically mentions the MCK chassis in the Factoring Criteria document.
