Merwin, Hulbert revolvers were one of the "big 4" in the late 19th century. Long gone. I have heard that there's a company bringing them back. There's a website but no information.
Has anyone actually seen one of these? Or are they just vaporware>

They've been taking deposits for a couple years now but so far not even one prototype has been produced in steel. All I've seen are 3D CAD models. I'd love to have one and the street price will be much more affordable than I expected but I'm not holding my breath.

On another forum they have dissected the company and their claims. If I find the link, I will post it but in a nutshell, non refundable deposit, no actuall firearms, no plant, no employees...

Apparently the guy is buying "names" and somehow marketing his ideas for producing firearms.

I contacted them. They claim that they are "in production and delivering guns.". I am skeptical as I have not seem an actual picture of a newly built gun or seen a posting from one who has one. As for "money back" lots of luck if the "company" goes bye bye. I am waiting to see results, and did not like the push I got to send in my money to " ensure delivery given our large backlog of deposits". Yep, thank you PT. Dave

The last couple of copies of Dillon's Blue Press have pictoral ads, with extra bbls featured.

I'm SURE that Dillon would not knowlingly permit a scam in it's publication.........

I agree that "Dillon would not knowingly permit a scam." However, the extent of their 'due diligence' in accepting an add is an open question, and after all, ad revenue is revenue.

Bottom line is that nobody has seen a product, nobody seems to be able to nail down whether or even where the 'factory' is physically located or exists, etc.

A fool and his money. And I would rather wait to see the 'beef' before I put my money down, but do what you want with yours. Dave

I can tell you right now that if any had shipped, we would know about it. What is strange to me is that they were supposed to start shipping last month, yet we have not seen the first prototype materialize.
