We need everyone that lives in Michigan to contact their state senator and let them know they support SB0059 S-1. The judiciary committee hearings are scheduled tomorrow in Lansing in the Farnum building starting at 2:30 PM. The county clerks are coming out in opposition to this legislation. The legislation is going to basically allow a person to apply for an intial or renewal in any county of the state (it is a state permit), it will reduce the fees and make the gun boards show cause when they want someone to appear. The clerks haven't really done such a good job of pushing the paperwork thru in a timely manner but have enjoyed the $$$, it's time for the people to act. Call your State Senator ASAP and voice you support.
