OK still itchin! What should I scratch that itch with 🤔

I currently have 2 micro compact 9mm pistols. A Kimber R7 Mako, and a Shield Plus.
In addition to a subcompact Glock 26.

Time to ask the THR enablers what micro compact 9mm they would add to the group.

Spending your money I might pick the Canik from your list. Seems well regarded and you can get the others later :)

I have a bunch of small bottom-feeders and usually carry a revolver anyway, so I voted for the 327. :)

FWIW, my buddy has a couple of the small 9mm Shields and a P365. I've shot them plenty. Nice pistols. I also used to have a G43.

(My friend is still trying to like the Sig better, but the Shield Plus fits him best and he shoots it the best, too.)

I bought a GX4 because it was only $250 with rebate. It shoots just as good as my friend's pistols, and better in my hands than the G43. The trigger and sights are good. Zero complaints.

Nice range toy. Would carry it, NP. It's been my nightstand gun a few times for one reason or another.

I have the original Walther PPS 9MM and recent Shield Plus OR. My vote would be "none of the above" though from that list I like the Glock 43X the most. The only micro that interests me now is the new HK CC9 but if i like it I am in no hurry and would wait for prices to come down once supply is more plentiful.

I've got a 43 with an Apex trigger, Ghost Rocket connector and Dawson sights, along with extended base pads.

I've also got a 48 (non-MOS) with an Apex/Ghost trigger that I had custom-cut for a Holosun 407, and run Shield 15 round mags and mag release (100% reliable.)

I carry a bone-stock MC9 with a 507 on it; it's like a small laser beam.

Personally I consider all of the listed pistols to be sub-compacts. I voted for the Hellcat because I love mine.

A consider a micro-compact to be a pocket gun. None of the listed guns will fit in my pocket and easily be drawn from my pocket smoothly. My favorite micro-compact are my Diamond back DB9's.
DB9 Gen3 and Gen4.jpg

They are considerably smaller than my Hellcat and CM9:

I pocket carry a DB9 about 90% of the time. If I go to the big city I will up gun to a sub-compact .45 acp IWB.

Such a wide, wide category.

Is pocket carry a thing you'd do?

Last gun purchase here was a G27, which I converted to 9mm, so essentially G26. I find I handle and shoot it a lot better than I expected, and the short grip makes concealment easier.

I do pocket carry most of the time.

One handgun I debate about adding to the list is the Kimber CDS9. I have never handled one.
Does anyone have one?

Yes, have the TFS model w/ threaded barrel. I got it as a gift to my father, but he's set on his little Staccato, so I kept it. Think it has 350 down the pipe and it is a wonderful little gun. The SAO trigger is better than all of the strikers, a trillion times better than the CSX. So far so good, people bash Kimber everywhere, but it's not one of their 1911s, it's something totally new and so far it's been awesome.

BIG miss in the list ... as around here the Sig P365 is the #1 Seller ...
A big second to this statement. The P365 is the best selling micro compact. It has the most factory and aftermarket support too. Personally, I think the Shield Plus is at least as good as the Sig, but the regular P365 is a bit smaller than the Shield Plus.

Is the controls set up like a little 1911?

Controls - yes. It has ambi thumb safeties, no grip safety. Can load/unload a round with the safety engaged. The trigger is different than a 1911, but it's easy to get used to. When I get home I can upload a pic, but it is the threaded barrel version.
