Midway - Did They Pull the Wool Over Me?

You got OWNED!!! Ok so you really didn't but no one else said in the previous 23 posts so I thought I had to.

+100 MIDWAY USA has always been top notch for me. The only time I had a problem (Ordered wrong magazines) they made it right no problems.

FWIW, I've done a lot of business with Midway over the years and have been very satisfied with their products, services and prices. Too, MecGar manufactures magazines that are every bit the equal of their OEM counterparts and, in many instances, makes them for same. Just the same, I feel that when a company advertises a product as being "factory" made I expect the name of the company of origin to be on the product in question. Not too long ago, CDNN was selling new CZ "factory" magazines for $19.99 each and, I'm happy to say, they arrived at my house a couple of days following my order exactly as advertised. Midway should be held to the same standard. If the magazine is the equivalent of factory-made but is made by MecGar (or whoever), it should be described exactly as is. This policy would avoid potential confusion and/or disappointment on the part of the customer-like the experience as reported by the OP.

Midway is one of the best I've dealt with. I'm sure they will find a way to fix your problem.

I like Midway too, sometimes you can beat their prices, but then they always ship fast and don't pad the shipping charges. I occasionally order from Natchez, which has better prices on most items but then reams you on shipping, I particularly resent their "insurance" charge, funny that is included for FREE on under $100 shipments by UPS:mad: Got to look at the total price.

FWIW, I got some Glock magazines from Midway and they also packaged them in generic zip lock bags. But same went for a mag I got from my local gun store. My guess is that these magazines are sort of a bulk part and get bagged by the retailer.

I've been using Midway for years. They are a family owned business that will correct any orders where the customer is not satisfied. If you don't want the Mec Gar mags, just send them back, but you will not get a better mag than a Mec Gar. They make many OEM mags, including for CZ.
