My wife has a Midway shooting gallery and from day one the batter was junk. I have been thinking about converting the power system over to ac.
Have any of you done this ? If so, would oyu be so kind as to instruct me on how to do it.
    Or...
Does anyone know enough about this type of system to advise me on how to go about it.

It is actually pretty easy, all you need is a converter...............that is a converter, not a inverter.

you can wire up a wall power supply for something like a cordless phone to it. Just make sure it has the same voltage output and the same or higher amperage output.

Jim, the link below is for a 120v ac to 12 v dc converter. It will handle a 5 amp draw. I'm pretty sure the motor on your shooting gallery draws less, but check the unit to be sure. This unit is about the same price as a new battery, there are cheaper out there, but this one looked quality. All you will need to do is change the connector on your shooting gallery to match the converter.

You will need one of these or similar to make the connection. This one is on ebay, but an auto supply should have something similar.

    Same thing on Amazon.
