    Fellow ARMY vet here. Basic at Ft.Dix, AIT and Ft. Huachuca and the aditional training on the bay for CID later. I was in MI for the first few years as a 96B then moved to CID work. Got my commision after graduating college/ROTC. :)

    Shot the m16 during basic training, never touched another firearm (not by choice, though) until just a few months before I got out.

    oct 05... WHOOPS... army is missing recruiting goals, better call some IRRs back! Here I am again. E-5, team leader in the 34th infantry division, waiting to go to Iraq in somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks.

    :-D Now thinking about staying in the guard.

    US Air Force 1976 - 1997. Avionics maintenance on F-15A - Es.

    I wised up the last six years I was in. I saw a bunch of senior NCOs retiring and not being able to find a decent job, so I took a CLM job on the commander's staff and started going to school full time. I retired with not as much rank but with an MBA. Best decision I ever made.
