Gewehr98, looks like 8 engines, 4 per side. The only bird I know is a B-52, but I didn't think there was that much glass on them.

Oh yes, I was USAFR

Finnish Army 1989-1990, in reserve until I'm 60. TOW specialist, 2nd platoon leader, some kind of a sergeant (about 1.class in comparison I think).

Not that I had much say in the matter. Finland is strictly conscription zone. I recommend that heartily... the implications are numerous and all for the common good.

To all you guys and gals still in, thanks. Be happy. even though it can suck. This is the best time of your life. You will look back and morn the life of a warrior. You will miss the rush, and friends and even the drama.

I wish I could do it all again. Except the last injury that ended my carreer.

My biggest regret in life is not joining the Air Force to be a fighter pilot. I'm happy where I am now, though. I won't shed too many tears.

Good old Rickover.
Sometimes, I do miss the comradery. I don't think you can ever find that sort of brotherhood on the outside.

11B all the way!

I don't post here often, but for this one:

Former 11H (TOW missiles, hey igor!) until the Army deleted my MOS and blessed me as 11B. 16 years so far, all in the VAARNG. No deployments yet, but I still have 4 years to go! Air Assault school Nov '04 at the ripe old age of 39 was a blast! I was in the top 10 age-wise out of 141 grads. HOOAH!

Congrats, everyone here, and thank you for your service to your country (wherever it may be).
