I know it's a bit late in the day for such questions, but I'm looking for a shooting partner for tomorrow.

The club I belong to--Schultz's in Muskego--requires two people to be present for shooting, at least for now.

There's rifle and pistol backstops, from 21 feet, 50 feet, 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards, and 100 yards.

There's also a portable shotgun patterning target stand, as well as trap stations.

If you're up for it, please post.

I'd go in a heartbeat, if I didn't have four kids in diapers. :(

Until Mrs. AJ Dual gets a break, I won't either. Ask me again in five years.

Curses on my "super fertility"! The wife and I don't even share the same bar of soap anymore, lest we suddenly wind up with even more mouths to feed... ;)

I'm praying one of the girls will want to shoot with 'ol Dad. Then, range outings will be "for the children". How could I refuse. :D

I am shooting tomorrow at the IPSC/USPSA club match in Oconomowoc. You want to head there tomorrow? Starts at 9am.......

AJ Dual, sounds like you need the tubes tied, my friend. ;)

HSmith, I haven't shot in competition in a couple of decades, and I haven't even shot a handgun more than once or twice this year. No way I'm going to embarass myself.

Maybe next time, or maybe a THR shoot after the deer sight-ins.

Me? In anatomy 101, we learned it's the woman who has "the tubes". Where have you been? :neener: And luckily for me, the last pair was a C-Section, And Mrs. AJ Dual was already opened up on the operating table, so yeah, they are tied.

That saved me a few days of the "cowboy walk". :uhoh:

As soon as they're old enough, I have to find a good kids book on Annie Oakley, maybe some stuff about Kim Rhode to get my girls inspired.

Tubes tied, plumbing turned off, whatever. You know what I mean, wiseguy. ;)

As it turns out, I never made it to the range. I laid wide awake from 10:30 last night until about 5 am, mostly thinking about what more can be done to get CCW passed here.

I've gotta stop thinking at night.

hey monkey leg. im with yea on getting the ccw passed in WI. only i will have to wait a 3more to be 21, but hey ya got my vote.

oh and thinking while in bed. the key is think about it for 10-15 before bed and 5 min while in bed. then forget everything and sleep. your mind is active while sleeping. i like to say i do my best thinking while a sleep. oh and when you wake up take 5 to think about your dreams. you will remember them.
