Missouri gun ban introduced

As we speak, Iowa is among one of several States being seeded by Democrats in Illinois with welfare recipients being offered incentives including 6 months of "extended" payments and relocation expenses to leave the State. Yes, tax money from tax payers for UHauls and for benefits paid to (now) non-residents.

They know which party to vote for once settled in and one more State goes Blue. You share a boarder MO? Watch your back.

Introducing and getting something passed is a whole different ball game. Looks good on paper but with out wings it doesn`t fly.

now politically destroy any rep that supports the bill.
I don't care what their party is.
Make sure they never get to run for dog catcher again.

A great lesson for future pols.

Received this email today from my Missouri State Representative, Robert Ross:

In only the second day since filing, I have already received an overwhelming response from my constituents, asking me to oppose HB545, which is another anti-gun/rights related, 2nd Amendment infrigement;- although this proposal comes from within our state rather than from the Federal Government. To better understand my position on this bill and on this issue, allow me to quote Senator Nieves, who's opinion I share:

"To all my 2nd Amendment supporting friends: Let me make this perfectly and abundantly clear... The Dems in BOTH the Missouri House & Senate have, and will likely continue, to file Anti-Gun Legislation. Here's the Good News - I am the chairman of the committee in the senate to which ALL gun bills are sent!! ALL Gun Bills, good or bad, must go through me!! I assure you, I promise you, all these Anti-Gun Bills are dead, as in D E A D - Dead!! ALL - ALL - ALL the Anti-Gun Bills are DEAD!"

I couldn't have put it better myself. I believe in a "ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY" relating to any infringements on our 2nd Amendment rights.

It looks to me like this outlandish bill was dead on arrival and was just a stunt by Democrats to give the impression to their gullible supporters that they are doing something.

The only thing those Representatives accomplished, then, is advertise to the whole state of Missouri, that their seats may be taken in the next election?

I hope someone (everyone) is jotting this down for future every action has an opposite reaction bucket. I hope their seats are taken in the next election. You know, I hope all politicians of their ilk have their seats taken next election.

Oh, wait a minute, St. Louis? They are there for the duration, then.

Damaged DNA needs removed from the political gene pool.

I'd happily get my Mexican real estate license and help them all relocate. I hear Ciudad Juarez has thousands of vacancies to fill year round. Very restrictive gun laws, or so I've been told.

To all of my fellow high-roaders in Missouri, please stay on top of this issue. As I understand it, you guys currently have the votes to squash such nonsense. Here in Colorado the same was true until this last election. Now, with just one election squarely in the hands of the Democrats, we're facing some ridiculous and draconian laws that we seem utterly powerless to prevent. Don't let it happen there!

The problem with these laws is that they always seem to go on the books, but never come off again.

I wrote my reps. and heard back from Will Kraus

Thank you for expressing your concerns on new gun laws. Any legislator can introduce any bill, and they occasionally do some wild things, sometimes just for the media attention. HB 545 and SB 124 have no chance of making it through committee or to the floor for a vote. I would certainly vote against either if they did.

I am a proud supporter of second amendment rights and a supporter of Missouri's concealed carry laws. I am a gun owner, a hunter, and a member of the military. I would not support any further restrictions on gun ownership in Missouri.

My door is always open,

Will Kraus
