I'm at the Burnsville Pistol Range weekly.
I'm also looking into the indoor range at that health club in Savage, or is it Shakopee.
    Dakotah Sport I think.

I'm from the TC, but am now in southwest WI. If you guys make it a weekend I might be able to join you. Otherwise, you should consider the IDPA matches we have sometime. PM or e-mail if you'd like some more info. They are held every 3rd Sunday of the month (except January) at 11am.

IDPA matches are held the 3rd Sunday of the month (except January) at 11:00 am at the Holmen Rod & Gun Club in Holmen, WI. Holmen is just north of La Crosse on Hwy 53 and Ct Rd T.

    La Crosse Area IDPA website

I think the cost is $10 each match. After the first match you are required to join the IDPA, which I believe is $30 / year. You can get the IDPA rulebook by going to the Official IDPA website.

I don't want to hi-jack the thread too much, let's take the IDPA talk over to the Competition forum. I started a thread here

As far as putting something together in MN, good spots for me are anything between Rochester, Winona and the Twin Cities. Roger at the Burnsville Pistol range seems like a good guy, but don't know if he'd be open to us having a 'gathering' there or not. I would prefer Armored Fire in Lino Lakes over Bill's Gun Shop & Range in Robbinsdale, but someone would have to check with those places too. Anyone a member at the Oakdale (or any other outdoor) gun club that could get us in on a Saturday this spring?

Sounds great. I'm in if I can ever get a day off from work. Working 60 + hours/week is no fun.

I'm about one hour West of the T/C, but there's a pretty good local range called Gopher Campfire. It's about 10 miles NW of Hutchinson. I'll have to check on any league events held on Saturdays. They used to be pretty full.

Might be a little more fun if someone had an outdoor place to shoot. After it warms up a bit.

What I had in mind was getting some AQT targets from fred's m14 stocks and visiting an indoor range and setting up a rifle shoot this spring out by wabasha at a public range near there. I also try and go to the pistol shoot at Bill's gun shop thursday evenings. However I am to any interests shown.

Hey, count me in! I live in Apple Valley and am at the Burnsville Pistol Range about once or twice a week, usually in the evenings from 5:30 p.m. till close.

I don't think Roger will object to a group of us arranging to meet there. After all, that is what I already do as I am usually there with three or four other shooting buddies.

    Let's do it!

Outside in the spring sounds pretty good. Bill's is a pretty good place to spend a chilly Minnesota evening.
