Model 94 Bolt and Cleaning

I tore down my model 94AE to clean it today. I have a Marlin 22 lever and a 9422 that I've never had any problems iwth but I could not get the bolt out of the 94AE. I have gotten the trigger assemble and hammer out. I was taking it apart so I could clean it form the breech. Any advice I can get on getting the bolt out would help. There apears to be a pin that is holding the bottom plate on that looks like its the answer but I didnt want to pound on it.
