Our local range has an M1 Carbine division in their CQB matches. I'd really like to get my father out there to shoot one with his pride and joy Postal Meter, but I haven't found anything useful that would hold his spare mags.

I'd like to find him something that would hold two or three 30-round mags, preferrably seperately, and fit on a 2" belt.

I've certainly seen the surplus 15 round mag pouches that everyone puts on the butt of the Carbine, and I have seen the surplus pouch that holds four M2 mags, but it's a big boxy thing that the mags would fall over in once you've taken a couple of mags out, and fall out if you moved around once you opened the single snap to get your first reload.

Does anyone make anything "modern" for the Carbines? I've looked, and I certainly haven't found anything (yet).

Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I just e-mailed to see if they could make their "HK-MP5 / COLT / UZI MACHINEGUN MAG POUCH" style individual mag pouches for the M1 Carbine 30-round mags. Since they also offer a MOLLE compatible attachment option, Dad could these on a leg or chest rig if he chose.

Thanks Nightcrawler...
