Colorado Voters: Recall Vote is At Hand!
Outside money turned Colorado into test case for state-level infringements on 2nd Amendment rights. Now the country gets to see whether Colorado will hold its elected officials accountable. John Morse and Angela Giron both supported firearms restrictions in March, and both are up for recall on Tuesday, September 10th. Be heard. Vote. (Our apologies to non-Colorado members who are seeing this message; there is no way to display notices based on geographic location, and this vote is important. Click the red 'X' in the corner to make this go away.)

This is extremely important to ALL OF US HERE!! If this works in Colorado hopefully other states will follow suit. I myself unfortunately live in Ny state and am losing my rights every single day!! this is being watched closely to see if it wins or loses. We need all this information when it comes to light and I appreciate it.

I hope all others feel like I do and find no reason for an apology from any of the Mods here!

    Mike

While I am in Kentucky and cannot vote, let me add here that this has National Interest to all gun owners in all 50 states. What happened in Colorado (with the passing of the anti-gun legislation) could happen in our own little corner of the world.

This is a very important vote as it doesn't just affect Colorado...its outcome will have an effect on those states which already passed draconian gun legislation in New York, Maryland, Connecticut, California as well as Colorado.

The outcome of this vote will send a strong message to ALL politicians that if citizens of one state can recall them, it could happen in other states as well. This vote will also serve as a statement that gun rights are not up for grabs and that the citizen will have and use legal recourse at its disposal.

Good Luck to our friends in Colorado!

I encourage this sort of attention to issues that affect the rights of our brothers and sisters in other states.

    I apologized because:
    1. I'm polite. The big obnoxious letters are startling to some of our more skittish viewers.
    2. Some members are crotchety folks who like to complain. Hopefully, they won't after the "we know this doesn't apply to you" line
    3. I'd been awake about 10 minutes before I put it up.
    So deal with it. :neener:

And, if you live in Colorado in one of the affected counties, do not forget to vote tomorrow.

I agree, no apology necessary. It is about time we see politicians held accountable. Now if we could only recall Bill Nelson.

I agree also. This has national interest. Good luck Colorado, we'll be watching.

Remember the Senate districts are Senate district 11 in Colorado Springs for Morse and district 3 in Pueblo for Giron.

If you're not sure what district you live in, go to this website and type your address in.

I agree, an apology was not necessary, but your courtesy is refreshing and appreciated.

Shout it from the rooftops every 30 seconds as far as I'm concerned...

The way I see it...this vote will affect us ALL!

Its gonna set a precedent either way....be it for us or against us...the precedent will be set.
