My newest purchase of this colt viper got me questioning. Why do I need so many revolvers. Am I nuts? You can’t carry them all! I could whittle down to 4 and be happy. Wait… WTH? If I had to I could go down to 4. 624, match champion, MP pre 10 snub and colt viper. But I “use” them all. The 15-4 snub is the most safe queen but I need to fix that

OK…. So, I do Guns of the Month (kindda)! take out 5-10 guns in that category or caliber I feel like. 357 month… Suppressor month, .38 month, 9mm month, Lever gun month. what ever. Take em out to polish and load for! Shoot & have fun!

I have been getting rid of some guns to buy others. None of my DA revolvers are going anywhere. I am not looking to buy more, but the ones I have are here to stay.

@shoebox1.1 just do what i do. I try to only buy a gun if i can get it below market value.
Ya know, that "steal of a deal". I fortunately find them pretty regularly.
See, this way I never have to feel guilty, or like I have too many. Even if I don't shoot every one of them as often as I'd like.
And best of all, I can tell Mrs. Ontarget that they are worth more than I paid for them, so shes happy too.

I have no issues accumulating them, for me the struggle is finding the time to shoot them all. I bought a 3" viper several months ago and haven't taken it out to the range. Very smooth action & nice finish tho. I don't think i could get by with 4. Worst part is I'm retired with property to shoot.

The crazy thoughts are gone. 10 in the safe and I only take 2 at a time to range. I’m not particularly fond of cleaning guns.. well the thought of cleaning guns. Once I’m at the table it’s ok. I do enjoy the rotation I carry something different most weekends. The 686-6+ is the EDC or the 638. Like I said. I NEED them all. I don’t think I’d sleep well if they were gone
