Call it rationalization/justification but each of my revolvers fits a certain niche – barrel length, chambering, size, SA/DA, or just aesthetics. My newest purchase of this colt viper got me questioning. Why do I need so many revolvers. Am I nuts? You can’t carry them all! I could whittle down to 4 and be happy. Wait… WTH? This is crazy talk!!! Get thee behind me Satan! I HAVE to have all the ones I have. I use them all and they all see rotation. Ever had thoughts like this??. Guilt I guess.. I dunno. All mine stay. Your thoughts..

I'd be "pretty dang content" for a little while. I know me though - the "content" feeling wouldn't last for long.I’d be pretty dang content then
OMG, that's funny, I like your way of thinking.Revolvers usually have six shots.
So, if you want the equivalent of, say, a Glock, you have to buy three revolvers...
To equal a pistol owner with ten pistols, you need thirty revolvers!
It's not rocket science for crying out loud
Don't even get me going with AR15s...
You better get going and buy more!
Gil.
I will admit that it’s possibly becoming a bit of an issue…maybe, when you have to buy an entirely new safe, take out the innards and add five shelves, then cut the legs off of 8-gun pistol racks to shorten them, all in order to squeeze less than half of your accumulated handguns inside.

what does my old post gotta do with a Slick Colt SAA .44!For many, many years I said who needs a Colt because my first handgun was a Ruger Blackhawk and many more of those and S & W's. Then I shot my cousins Officers Model Target 38 Special and had to have one and it's nice. I added a snubby and King Cobra but got rid of them and resisted all temptations because my gunsmith tuned New Vaquero was better than an expensive Colt...
Getting older and came across an ad on the Ruger Forum. I couldn't stop going back and looking and then it sold and I said good! Relieved of my yearning I moved along. Then one day, it was back! The buyer backed out and the temptation returned to haunt me. As I struggled I looked up many old posts by Mark Mark looking for flaws in all of his dealings to make me not do it but in the end I succumbed to the pressure and have my first SAA. A 4 3/4" 44 Special and it is smother and better than my tuned New Vaquero! Spring came back today and it's time to go shooting every day!

don’t forget;Never ask a boy to do a man's job...
And never ask an automatic pistol to do a revolver's job... The pistol will &%@# it up...every time.
Smokeless powder is a passing fad.........
