More wood grips

I`ve never been real fond of rubber grips, unless the gun in question had seriously heavy recoil.
The last few weeks I`ve been replacing rubber with wood.
Here is the most recent.

Seller calls it Bloodwood.
I don`t know much about exotic woods.
I just liked the grain and color.

Cool. Here's a pair that I knocked in about an hour for Mrs. Mariachi a few months ago. The lumber came from some Asian pallet crates my friend the longshoreman brought over for fire wood. They're kinda boring but she likes 'em. Which is all that matters....

Greg, you should see just the basic rough framing & forming lumber stuff that they sell in Costa Rica lumber yards-----the majority of what I saw back in the mid 90's was simply gorgeous.....

I'm with you, I hate hate hate those rubber wrap around grips.
