J&G has them for $450, although reading the description I'm not sure they are original snipers or something put together later.
SOG has them for $400, Ukranian origin. Once again, not sure if they are original or made into snipers for sale.

You answered your own question in a sense. The main difference is in the way they were picked out at the factory. The Sniper weapons were selected barrels, and actions/triggers from the factory and all hand selected as well. They also from what I read, selected the stocks for hardness and lack of cracks and such. So basically they were the best of the best of the MG rifles, have all correct numbers and accessories, and are even more a peice of history than a regular MG. I have a really nice MG rifle with all matching numbers and love it but would love to have in my collection a REAL sniper rifle. I have shot them. The things are considerably even better than a good shooting Nagant.

The ones in the $400 range are not snipers. They r just regular mg's with a scope and turn down bolt.

Personally I'd go for a few Finns for that price, but to each his own.
If you get one from rguns, pay for a hand select if possible or go and select one yourself. They've been out on the market for awhile now and my bet is the best of the batch have been taken by other collectors. But you never know.
Also you should keep your paperwork so you can prove the source of the rifle if you sell it later. There are so many fakes floating around, getting an authentic one from a known distributor is not a bad idea.
A movie called "Enemy at the Gates." 91/30 PU snipers were made in large quantities and were not necessarily tack drivers. The exceptionally high price is a direct result of the fact that many people have seen them in the film. Almost any Finnish Mosin is inherently more rare and usually better made than the 91/30 snipers. But very few people know the rifles exist.
Wait till a big Hollywood movie about Finnish ski troops comes out LOL

I see that J@G sales has mosin that say ex sniper for $109 does mean they will be a better more accurate rifle?

I've owned a few ex-sniper 91/30's over the years. Aztec importers, which I think is now defunct, brought over some very nice quality ones about ten years back. But just being an ex-sniper doesn't mean it's going to be a tack driver. The Soviet standards for "sniper" accuracy were not what we think of when we hear that term. These were for squad level marksmen. There were some kicking around that had been hand-picked for accuracy and marked accordingly by Tula arsenal, but I don't know of a similar practice for Izzy.
Their ad says "dark pitted" bores, which is actually a good sign since it probably means they didn't recut the bore. You might get them to do a hand pick, but at that price what's to lose? Worst case scenario you get a dog and part it out. I've had some good shooters with nasty bores. The only big drawback is cleanup takes five times longer ;-)
One interesting project some have done is to re-re-arsenal the rifle back into a PU sniper. Might be worth it if you have a really nice shooter, esp. with the original WWII bore.

Thanks Cosmoline, what do they mean by forced matched serial numbers does that mean the rifle is made out of parts from other rifles?

"Forced match" is what happend when the rifle was dissasembled, its parts replaced, and it was brought into specifications for reissued or storage, after Its been rearsenaled
This brought old and broken rifles back into service after the arsenal redid them. during peace, after WWII.
The Finns did the same thing, but didnt usually go through the renumeration stamping, and the mismatched nubers are referredto as "Finn Matched" Mosins.
The "RGuns" snipers are Ukrainian sniping referbs from the factory, stored and still awaiting WWIII, the others (cheaper) are made up here in the US.
