I just got my hands on a Mossberg T46B 22. I can't seem to find much info on it. The one I got has the peep sites and it also has a Mossberg scope and mounts. Can any one tell me any thing it.

MODEL 46B-T / heavy barrel and stock, target version of Model 46-B, rare. Mfg. 1938.
From BB of GV

Sound like yours? The model is arranged diffrent though, T46B while BB calls this one a 46B-T...

Any Help?

Can you post pics of it I have seen a 46BT, but with mossberg anything is possible.
If you decide to sell it let me know I may be interested in it.

The forum over on CMP website might be a good place to look.
There is also a company site on the web that deals in the mossbergs like that.

My uncle got a 44 I think it was. It had a period scope that was horrible. Trigger was light. It was very apparant the rifle would be a great shooter after sorting out the sights.

Getting the peep sights with it was good.

I called National Mossberg Collectors Association and they said the T46B and the 46TB are the same gun made between 1938 and 1939. The Peep sights came on the gun stock and the scope and mounts were factory special order. Now I need to buy the book off them to lean more. They were very helpfull.
