You will need to pull the reciever apart (remove trigger group and bolt). Becarful of some loose small parts. Get an exploded view drawing. Take your time it is not as complicated as it may seem. I have replaced several of the factory ones (due to breakage) with aftermarket steel ones.

The hardest part is removing the screw on the latest models. Mossberg went to a security type screw that is cut away so that a screwdriver slips rather than get a bite on the screw. No real tips on that issue, just use a good screwdriver and be persistent.
