I have no idea why I like this shotgun, but it has caught my eye:

The flip up sights would definitely go, but I like the safety and the redesigned stock. Apparently they have improved the trigger as well.
It's expensive so that will hold me off for a while, but if they go on sale.....

Wow, that is a pricey Mossberg. They manufacture great shotguns though.

I agree!

I just noticed that it comes with chokes, which is a nice addition.

MSRP is a little high. They should keep the sights and bring the price down a tad. Should be a $750 shotgun, retail of course. At least, that’s about where I’d be comfortable goin in. That safety is the most appealing upgrade for me.

You guys who ditch the sights let us know how you get your head down with that straight-back stock. There’s a reason the AR-15 has elevated sights. 😉

Watching a TFB TV interview with a Mossberg rep at Shot Show, this design originated with a European contract for a breacher shotgun. Mossberg was apparently given latitude to come up with their own design.

Seems a little odd, given that Beretta and Benelli are no slouches in the military and police shotgun market. Mybe they were too expensive?
